Albert Cottage is on the A917, in the East Neuk village of Pittenweem.
The Royal Burgh of Pittenweem is a picturesque working fishing port with art galleries, cafes and St Fillan’s Cave.
It was on the mediaeval pilgrimage route to the shrine of St Adrian on the Isle of May and still has extensive remains from the Middle Ages.
A number of golf courses are nearby and St Andrews itself is only 15 minutes’ drive away.
The annual Pittenweem Arts Festival takes place in August.
